Interesting cards...

I like the elf, but i guess we have to see how many possibilities the elves will get to give other chars the poisen trait...

nice little cleric card, good for weenies... but chars like brawl will like this, too...

loki loves this wizard action, but i guess other wizards will have some use out of it, too...

hm, not sure about the spear.... maybe in a very rogue focued deck... i think that vipers tongue is the better weapon for the warlord....

Kornell Calix: least favorite Elf so far. Being a fighter does little to help this.

Potion of Strength: +4 with Powerattack would seem like a solid combo for a Cleric/Fighter or Cleric/Rogue Warlord. Perhaps we will see a Dwarf or Elf Warlord with this class combo...

Teleport Object: As an item killer the DC is too high to be worth it (24 for Level 9). Camel is better to get an extra use of low level stuff. This seems like a niche card.

Whirling Swamp Spear: unless your Warlord is an Assassin why wouldn't you go for this over VT? You get to trigger the ranged strike effect with each kill! This would be nice on a little people eating bone undead. Also,I totally LOVE the art on this card. I want to make love to it.

I thought the point of new cards was that they were supposed to be actually playable...

The spear isn't too bad actually, but the other cards...

hm, teleport object will definitely be used in wizard cav decks...

most wizards need a 7-8 (3-4 with living history) to get e.g. wyvernsteed back on the hand which can come in very handy...

and for the spear, with the debuff from the lady, it is more likely that the opponent will not make the check from the tongue...
taisia will use the tongue, as you said cause she is an assassin....
atm, logan front could use it (just kill a little pleep and shoot a spent thekk or scyrax and add some snipershot :D )
this weapon will likely be used on other rogues, i like the idea of bone fiend havin it

Teleport Object is... very good?
Think Loki with Doombringer or Shroud: Use it, Teleport it back to your Hand, equip it, use it again!
And it is really nasty against Uber. Oh, nice little King's Lady you have there... but how do you re-equip it in the second rank? ^^

Again nice for Morghen, to move his life insurance to a "better" character, for example if your opponent just stunned the bearer with a Kor's Patience. So back to your hand and on a new character. I really like the card! More and more, actually!!
You can even recharge a Lightnings Iron with it!! :D

yeah, as the card says opposing characters, you can use this card in doubles without the additional +5...

very nice :D

i think the dc would be too high for that.... maybe worth it if some other skill boosts for wizards come out with this expansion... living history is ok, still need to roll a 10 with morghen :D

Ew. Not what the cards do, but the wording.

Teleport Object has intrinsically confusing wording because there's a conditional clause thrown into the same parenthesis brackets as the non-conditional clause. It doesn't (technically) define what the spellcraft check is supposed to be if it's equipped to say, your character, because the conditional clause (what is obviously "add +5 to the DC if it's an opposing character") defines the entire parenthetical bracket. Bad wording.

And is that wording on the Rogue item correct? Is it just "Killed?" Huh. Maybe a 4E change...

It's terrible to use it to "destroy" opposing items (the dc is insanely high since btw you can only use it on high level items... using it on low level items is pretty useless since your opponent will re-equip it...).

Even for your own items, it will work about two times out of three and give you an effect that another card would have accomplished in a better way.

The idea of the card is good but the dc is TOO high, by far.

These funky cards that mess with Poisoned enemies is cool and all, but where are the cards that um... Poison them in the first place.

And other then weakening an opposing Warlord, why bother Poisoning them when you can just kill them?

Granted we haven't seen anywhere near the entire set yet but so far the mechanic is a little meh

Hm... teleport object is imho pretty cool for Morghen or Loki. As was said before he ability to reuse Ivory Scepter and Shroud is very good, as there are (at the moment) no other action/item cards that can make an compareable check as an order. Else i see no big use of the card yet, but this may change with other/better items... And it would be to difficult/a waste to use it on an opponent.

The spear is interesting, cause the react ain't once per turn. But, I'm not sure if it is good enough to replace other weapons...

The other two cards will most likely never see play in my decks... (like many of the other cards spoiled allready...)

Actually rogues (removing assassins from the equation and their Viper's Tongue) dont have a better weapon than this.

I actually find Blade and Chain useful for non Assassins. Ill definitely get a set of the Spear

Now for the other cards, I'm not sure they will find a place in my decks :?

The Elf isn't that bad. It seems pretty obvious that the Elf Warlord is going to have something to do with Poison. If we see more cards that allow you to poison people, then the Lady of Pain might like the new Elf as a discard. Make it even easier to use her Order to wound things.

The potion isn't that bad. It is like saving a Quick Strength for later. They are really pushing the front-line Cleric thing, so maybe we will see more that could make use of it. It is until end of turn and not just for one strike.

The action could see some play but probably not on opponent's cards unless you are desperate.

I like the Spear. The art is sweet and Scyrax's little comment can be taken out of context. Sounds like he is pimping... As others have noted, the fact that it isn't OPT is nice. Especially since it is also a spell. That part could come in handy, too.
