 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
I like sudden reversal better than close ranks in this deck because it lets you move within the rank.

 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
I like Sudden Reversal better than Close Ranks because it triggers on targetting and doesn't care about the outcome of the strike.

 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
Then again something is practically guaranteed to die. Sudden Reversal is a melee and with the rise of ranged rogues with the new cards I think Close Ranks would be more versatile.

 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
I also like sudden reversal better than close ranks because it can save your ass.

 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
Any other comments other than Sudden Reversal and Close Ranks?

 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
Well, Bull Rush is like a waste of a good stunning in Gudliefer, so why even bother? Just run Close Ranks or Sudden Reversal, whichever you like better.

 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
This is what you get when you post just a list with no playtest results or well defined strategic objectives. You get subjective opinions of individual cards and nothing else.

 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
12 movement cards with a lot of level 4 characters seems like there will be a lot of stunning up.

 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
Well how many do you suggest? I figured 12 movement cards would be enough for Gud to get to the front at least turn 1 and the rest can be for my army. Im thinking of taking out Pikes Set!for two movement. Maybe Sudden Reversal!

 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
How impossible would it be to write or print out the text for the cards you don't have and do some actual testing? It's usually a prudent idea to want to test something before you buy it when possible. Right now you're just fishing for other players to make decisions for you. Haven't you had this conversation before? With someone else? About an ancients deck? viewtopic.php?f=9&t=36574&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=45I was just suggesting a way to get more informative feedback and data if you don't want to make that sort of effort than expect more of the same. Just trying to help you out.

 Re: Gudleifur Calvary
Your kidding me right? You realize how ridiculous you sound? All i [Censor: Quack!] want is some feedback on the damn deck, what people think before it actually comes to real cards and competitive play. Again, gimme a [Censor: Quack!] break, you act like I HAVE to do all this [Censor: Poo from a bull] just to get a couple of people's of opinions, I get feedback, or I dont, now I would to actually have people with reasonable opinions post here and wouldn't like a warning....
