Didn't you totally bash on someone a while ago or making this guy?
I see no Amends in this, you need Amends since killing him triggers King Alaric's ability if you use it at the right moment in addition to giving you a few strikes.
I'd cut Ardent completely, its not good out of him. If you're not swinging for the fences with Alaric in the front rank then there is a huge problem. You also want Breastplate of Power and Commanding Presence in this deck, you can use (since I know you have them) A Single Motion and stuff to equip the higher level items in the front.
Common Blade is a must. Blood God's Basinet is pretty good. Ghoststeel is incredibly useful.
When I ran him I parked his ass in the front and just beat on people. It's much easier now, so go for it.
You /need/ Amends.
You also need Belicose, Sudden Reversal, and more movement in general. 3 War Horses doesn't cut it. Ever. In any fighter.
