Not even doing anything "unusual" as far as Morghen goes, a lot of the newer elves and wizard tech are really good for him. Revenant and Rethriel are awesome, as is One Last Time. With all the support wizards that Morghen has, Harness the Storm can get DIRTY.

This is what I'm running in him currently:

Amatria Tansiq x3
Shadith Glyn x2
Morghen the Unliving + Dythanus' Essence

Peeps:
Revenant x3
Rethriel x3
Remorna x3
Tresven x3
Austerion x3
Tyyphera x2 (aka Tyypy Longstockings)
Green Hag x1
Ayaaba Waverunner x1

Magics:
Incinerate x3
One Last Time x3
Icy Surge x3
Disintegrate x2
Harness the Storm x2
Venom Vines x2
Power Word: Kill x1

Toys:
Ring of Vorn x2
Cloak of the Leech x2
Teufeltiger's Mask x2
Spitting Cobra x1
Bracers of Deflection x1

I STRONGLY (with much force) suggest Kinnell instead of Shadith. Reason: FreeKs, Dwarves, Chosen, Nothrog, any Cleric. He can also cast Dust to Dust and if you're playing on the blitzy side, which it seems like you are, I'd consider x2 Flame Arrows.

I've kinda been over the "Kinnel vs. Shadith" thing until my face is purple. Kinnel only works vs. Level 1's. Shadith works vs. anything and everything you come up against. 2HP starter? Roll up marks for another wound. Someone trying to build back? Shoot out their rank 2. Crazy buffs going on? +5 to break through LuYV/Embolden. Even if you fail the Marksmanship check, his +3 is still better than Kinnel's +2. Shadith's AC is also higher. Shadith can also fall forward vs. the superblitz opposition then spend the survivng Level 1 to shoot ANYWAY. Shadith is still a threat after turn 1 is over. I have won games on a Marksmanshipped Shadith Glyn strike turn 2 or 3. Versatility > One-Trick Pony, that's my stance.

Fair enough. And yes, Rabinus is the 2hp FreeK starter.

To be fair to your point, yes. I find that the elf blitz is what wins these games...but I like getting Morghen up front to sling too.

1st aim is synergy, what lev 1-2 spells do you run? if none don't use kinnel go shadith, period. If you run silliness like flame arrows, run kinnel.

I always start one of them and have the other one in the deck to change my starters as need be, the other lvl 2 is always a puppy (west wind). I get to much millage out of each one at different times to ever stick with just kinnel or shadith.

From Dust to Dust is an amazing card, whether its better for summoners or not. First action its a DC 16 to a level 2 from Kinnel. That gets rid of one character, gets you a level 2 (most likely Tresven ) and makes their ranks unstable so they can't play a level 3 on the upcoming action. This card has won me games and is definitely worth it IMHO.

I was toying with her the other day. For From Dust to Dust, I prefer Fayed Dythanus. It would be cooler with Tresven at the end, I admit, but I can't find room for him:

x1 Morghen the Unliving *
x2 Kinnell *
x2 Amatria Tansiq *
x3 Fayed Dythanus
x3 Treyik
x3 Rethriel
x3 Ardanaalis *
x3 Cyrus Netheryn
x3 Rotale Dythanus
x1 Ayaaba Waverunner
x1 Bone Fiend

x3 From Dust to Dust
x3 Venom Vines
x3 Wither and Bloom
x3 Incinerate
x2 Disintegrate
x2 Flame Arrows

x3 Bloodstone Rose
x3 Ring of Vorn
x2 Shroud of Lost Souls
x1 Dythanus Essence *
