Yeah, sorry. About 5 years ago the kids I played with didn't know the difference between fury and furry. So they often mispronounced it, and I had my fun with it. So when I saw the Axe, it was automatically the axe of furry for me.

Also updated w/Bull Rush. For serious guys, yer supposed to catch stuff like that.

I never really liked bull rush. If you get it with a different movement card its great, if you only get that then your screwed. Plus with obliterate now, I'd much rather be spending for that. Almost any other movement card is better then bull rush. Close ranks/sudden reversal, react speed movement. Plus turn 2+, sudden reversal is redirection, Stubborn, order movement but it will keep you ready. Steeds, will last as long as no one takes them off, and will give you attack and defense. Bull rush, you only use it turn 1.

I don't like it either, to be honest. It's always the movement that doesnt make the cut for me, since it's dead 1st turn without any other movement.

But it's 'react speed' movement that is immune to Submerge, and gives barbarians an ATK bonus. Worthy of consideration.

Submerged is just 1 card though. So to meta against it isnt worth it.

Submerge will [Censor: Quack!] your [Censor: poo] right up. None of us down here play it, so you haven't had the joy of facing it all the time. Think of all the times you've played Close Ranks just as your front rank falls apart, using Kast's react to finish me off? Submerge leaves you spent in the first rank. No attacks, just lying there waiting for the hits to come.

I still wouldn't play a situational card to meta 1 card. And yes, Submerged [Censor: Quack!] my day up when I played set'rokh in the tournament.

With Obliterate here, there's no reason to play it unless you're running "light cavalry."

I'm not going to argue too hard for Bull Rush. It's not meta versus Submerge, since it has a legitimate and potent effect regardless. It has its advantages. If you aren't playing with Kast, its a worthy consideration.

It's always the first movement I cut out though.

Bull Rush is never just about the movement. It's about the movement and the ability to attack right away without your opponent having any chance to really stop it. Sure it might not be the greatest first turn draw if you don't draw any other movement, the first time you use it in a match, your opponent might not have prepared for it and every match after that, they have to play like it could happen at any time. Personally I love Bull Rush, even after they got rid of the cheap move of stunning to the front and attacking.

Updated.

I'm missing deck lists for Krenthor's other 3 tournament wins, but I'm only really concerned with Malexin's 2008 Tepheroth event winner and Johnathan Wocjik's 2009 NJ winter campaign winner.

6-man Krenthor - still a threat? Ghoststeel Gauntlets are pretty frickin' stupid.

Who would run Ghost Steel over Thunderclappers?! Turn every single movement card in your deck into a ranged strike? As many times per turn as you have cards? Bounce back melee threats? Yes, please!
