Post The Meta Deck
Just toying around with some of my favorite meta cards. This focuses on countering decks that rely on their discard piles (Hammer Into Anvil, Final Blessing) and uber decks (Dragon Buckler, Twist the Blade) with a small dose of normal meta (Sphlyric, Thwarted, Stubborn, Mollusk Helm). Thoughts?

1 Pog'myrmex
2 Ballista Crew
3 Sphlyrix
3 Karn of Clan Manaka
3 Kul of Clan Tergoth
3 Verusk
3 Envoy Soraya
2 Dor of Clan Manaka
2 Vels of Clan Manaka
1 Kel'suk
1 Rrok
1 The Retiarius

3 Thwarted
3 Final Blessing
3 Hammer Into Anvil
3 Embolden
3 Stubborn
2 Twist the Blade

3 Dragon Buckler (Treasure)
2 Wyvernsteed
1 Hod's Legacy
1 Stormwolf
1 Mollusk Helm

My first guess is for anyone putting a card on top of their deck (Niobe's Leaf, Burial Shroud, Revenant) or against Inquisitor Dmitr, who stacks the deck each turn.

Meh, he just puts stuff in the discard. I hate all the other NoThRoG starters. Also, if he burns characters, that's pretty sweet.

I'd say the overall looks pretty interesting. I'll make up something similar and give it a whirl.

Dragon Buckler is very good, but the problem items at the moment are Ghoststeel Gauntlets and Common Blade, neither of which can be hit by Dragon Buckler. Perhaps Pillage is worth a look?

Well, if you land a Dagon Buckler hit, you take off the Blood God's Bassinet (-2HP and deal 2 wounds) and whatever item they get the most AC from, likely Fiendish Plate. If you hit them a second time, they're in trouble. You just have to plan it correctly. The other deck I thought about running this out of was Brom or Thekk, because they have access to Magma Gargoyle who hits with a Dragon Buckler for, yes, count them, THREE items.

I tried this out in a couple of games. It seemed to work, but that might just have been lucky dice. I'll keep it built for a few more runs.

Was it the exact list with Treasure Dragon Bucklers and the Ambassador?

No, since I don't have either.
