Actions and Items? Please?

I know that people love seeing the new characters coming in new sets, but can we get some love for actions and items? Look at Nargul's spoiler, there hasn't been much love in that regard at all (especially for Rogues).

As my esteemed colleague shows in the chart, we probably have seen enough Deverenian, Dwarf, and Fighter Action foo for awhile and could use a bit more diversity.

@ Arne, something to consider:

It would be really nice to see the rest of the returning cards. This would allow the old guard to sift through their morass of retro cards to pull copies. Considering that we have to wait longer to get the cards (realistically early 2009) this will give people something to do and may reduce complaining… unless Cordeos comes back; then more complaining!

One interesting note that my number crunching produced: with only one rogue warlord there will be only one deck needed to purchase for rogue players, ditto for wizards.

though the logic is there, i still think that the dev deck, because of its high number of wizards and fighters, will have a few wizard spells. but rare wise i definately agree

Not entirely true, though. Classless actions and items, other rogue characters, etc... they might not all show up in the Rogue deck.

Bu tthe Numbers do not support that. If Arne follows the same pattern as he did in the Base Set.

3 rare action per class
3 Rare item per class
5 Rare character per Faction(including the Warlord.)


11 rares for a deck, that's one over what they would get, also the Merc Warlord is in with the Chosen so that deck is down two rare items and actions.


When you add it all together

35 Rare character
1 Additional Rare Merc character as they have one more character than everbody else.

60 Rares total, 10 per deck. I figure the lover level rare will go into a deck that has a chance for it to see play. It is possible for the extras to be in the other Deck from the Same APS, But we will have to wait and see.
