The deck can focus its offense on either the first or second rank of the opposing formation. Being able to do this you can take the quickest route to get the opposing warlord into range and keep them there for Grilt to work over for several turns.

Grilt is a good warlord and Hedge piloted him well. We had some great games and I almost c blocked him on his win. Grats to him though.

I've ran a Grilt that does pretty decent, but I'm rather interested to see what did so good.

And I was just sharing how I was excited to see that he posted again since I wanted to see the decklist and was a little bummed that he didn't have time.

Thank you! I can see why you won with it. Great strategy. I was trying to do the same thing in my deck, but, I didn't have the right character compliment. Was Slash and Lung legal for the tourney you played? Despite the problems I've been having in my deck, that is one card that seems to work well for me, especially since I have gotten into the 3rd rank for a WL kill with it.

I play against people that do not spend thier warlord against a Rogue, especially grilt. They simply do not do it, which makes slash and lunge quite useless in that regards.
