Alright guys,

NJ Warlord has been on Tour the last few months - it's time we throw an event in the motherland!

I'm going to start coming up with a plan, but the most important thing to figure out is WHEN to do this. I know the Summer is a very weird time to hold events because everyone has stuff going on (Trips, Vacation, etc).

So -- I was thinking of throwing something in late June (The weekend before or after Father's Day). Right now, ideal would be June 25/26 or July 16/17.

So, to all my New Jersey/New England/Maryland/New York/Connecticut/Padre in Philly people -- when do you think would be the best to run an event - The weekend after Father's Day/Before 4th of July, or Mid-July two weeks prior to GenCon?

I'm personally in favor of sooner rather than later. I'll throw together something @ King's Games in May as well, since 2 months is a long ways off.

Summer is universally terrible for me. Whatever you guys want to do I'll try and make it to. Sundays are much better for me, btw.

Just post dates and times and I'll see what I can do about getting there. Sundays are usually better for me as well since I don't have work on Sunday (usually).

As always, South Jersey = Saturday. We'll talk this weekend about it, and see if there is any June conflicts.

There should definitely be more planned tourneys more often than Seasonal Campaigns.

I think June would be a better month than July. GenCon is the first week of August I believe and a tourney in mid-July could be taxing on GenCon preparations.

Wife's birthday...July 17th.
Chances of going to this event...fuggettaboutit!

Yooo! I'm gonna be taking the time off of work either way bro; will need at least a month notice. I just bought a house so Gencon is, unfortunately, probably out of the question for me this year. But the tournament is not! Looking forward to seeing you all again. Anything works for me, just need to make sure I put in a month notice.

Update - Swinging by this place called "Time Warp Comics" in Cedar Grove tonight. Just really to scope it out. If it looks good, I'll talk to a dude about hold an event there

Alright guys, I got my venue. It's in Cedar Grove, NJ - Time Warp Comics. Only 1 last thing to do: Choose a date. I've been told that I can ONLY get a Sunday unless I do it on a Saturday night, which wouldnt be enough time. So, I would like you guys to give me feedback on the following dates:

July 17th
July 24th
July 31st

Please rate these 3 dates in order of preference. You can also write that all 3 work for you, or neither of them work for you. Right now, I'm leaning toward July 17th to give some time between this and GenCon, but I want to get the most people to this event since I plan on pimping out the prize support.
