 Good Digital RPGs
Where did they go? Theyre so few and far between now that it saddens me. Bioware seemed to be the last bastion of epic RPGs but it feels all gone with DA:2.

 Re: Good RPGs
you said RPG's and then said Bioware. Somehow I think we are speaking different languages.

 Re: Good RPGs
He's talking video games Rich. Not pen and paper like I thought when I saw the thread title.

 Re: Good Digital RPGs
They should do Baldur's Gate all over with the new graphics capabilities of today.

 Re: Good Digital RPGs
We talking PC Baldur's Gate or PS2? I much preferred the game on PS2.

 Re: Good Digital RPGs
PC of course. I didn't even know there was a PS2 version.

 Re: Good Digital RPGs
I loved Pool of Radiance and the whole series of games that followed...
The Might & Magic series was good too... Then they went the whole turn-based strategy game path with the Heroes of M&M series instead...
I agree though... Because of the whole MMORPG craze and first person shooters, the plain old single player RPG has fallen by the wayside...

 Re: Good Digital RPGs
Darguth likes this. Anyone happen to know if/how to emulate those old Dragonlance games? I'd love to jump back to the stage of being like 7 years old and playing on my Dad's crummy old work laptop
