Post Re: Location of Medusan Lords
I think it's unfortunate for the game when players retire and take cards. Understandable but unfortunate.

Some MLs are the property of their wrangler, not AEG or PI. These would include the Al-Semeyas, Sedara Tansiq, Legion and Taliesin, to name a few. What they do with their proeprty when they retire is up to them. I believe this was also the case for Irad.

I'd be willing to part with Emaline+Ossay+items if the offer is good enough.

NO, they wouldn't. And yes, I can (print them), and they actually are in print right now.

Irad is a European ML that disappeared when the runner did (retired, I think).

He's still with Luca Corradini, afaik.

The property issue is sketchy and was never fully detailed (in AEG's time running Warlord). For example: I never had a personal copy of the Queen of Syneri (IIRC just a few extras of the Snare).

Queen-Mum belongs to Oliver, but I have it to run it at times.

Imperator Gixu is with Luigi ("Gigi") Corradini. Yes, the brother of Luca.

Golvannon was also won by Marco Wellmann (as Avinar), IIRC.

The Harvester of Souls was taken by Tobias Marschall and is still with him, IIRC.

Of course I also have Atu the Fallen (my current ML).

I'm not sure the Scotts have been on the ToL since they retired from the game, but they both did have accounts (forget the usernames).

I can actually get someone in contact with the Scott's if its really necessary as I have them as FB friends.....better to hook up with Kerebrus as I know that he is also their FB friend.

RBD also had Lady Baine if I remember correctly.

Lots of people are FB friends with Laura and David. Hell, I got their phone #'s. I know they still have the Al Semeya twins, and when last I approached the subject they were keeping them.

Re-envisioned? Curious what those looks like...

If it matters, I have the original Silas Tzin and all of his items. It amazes me how much people underestimated him.

Lets just say... warlord has never been far from my heart.
Life happens, but if I had a group within driving distance, I would consider playing again.
Quite a few fond memories tied to the game.

Exactly the same, but replacing the instance of "Mentalist" with "Illusionist" on the item that removes wounds from him for the sake of 4E where Mentalists don't exist.

Thematically that is really interesting. From a game play perspective, that is sick.

The word is "fun." :)

Andrew Getting sold me his personal copy of Tzin, and that got stolen at Origins some years back. The Silas reboot was sanctioned under the 4E environment, banked on a promise made by Rich Carter when he was the Warlord Brand Manager back when Silas was originally stolen. I made the decision to offer Silas challenges as a charity-only initiative, with proceeds from challenges (bought in cash) going to charity. Reward for winning: DL's. It went well at its debut last Gencon.

If anyone cares, it will be available, again, this year.

Haha, I haven't played Warlord in years. My brothers still have their warlord league every other week at whoever decides to host's place. But I still keep track of some of the going-on on here. I still believe that AEG could have made a lot more money by making warlord more easily draft-able with an official format.

Well with the way the gaming industry is heading, that would only have prolonged the inevitable. The future seems to be all about out of the box card games you don't NEED to expand or collect, and digital card games where you don't have to carry and store your stuff.
