we are now at G Minus 5 weeks. the big show is coming. While we know and understand that the current state of Warlord may have sent many of the Warlord crew off to ... scout other games lately, the annual pilgrimage to Indianapolis is often the only time of the year I get to see certain of you folks that I like to call friends. Maybe not the kind of friends that I would call to help me move a body, but friends nonetheless.

So, in a nutshell, post if you are going to be there. and if you are playing Warlord, or some other game. (I promise not to cast digital stones at the players of other games).

Rich Carter (Kerebrus) will be in attendance. All the Warlord I can handle, except Thursday night, when I am going to work off my Fogo de Chao meat hangover be running roughshod over the competition in the 2012 Harrowed Doomtown Championship.

Stuck on a job in Michigan, too close to not go. Count me in.

I (Vic Polites) will be at the con. I have a ticket for the Friday event and plan to be around on Sunday for whatever happens then.
As I don't believe in the Sunday curse, that means Gixu and Eresh challenges.

Beyond that, I'm playing some LFR (the rpga's shared-world DnD game), some Pathfinder, and a new rpg or two.

Carter - Are these plans for Fogo for Wednesday or Thursday? If it's the former, there are at least two of us already thinking about going.

I'll be there, gonna try to at least play ancients this year. My main goal for Gen Con this year is to play as little Magic as possible. Playing some Vampire the Masquerade tabletop for sure, hitting some seminars, and gonna try to drop in on some Arkham Horror games looking for no shows.

I (Jeff) will also be there, along with several other players from my Asheville, NC group. (Heather, Lindsey, and Chris)

I(chase causey) will be there and I'll be playing in the ancients tournament as well as the 4e championship. I'll also be playing call of cthulhu lcg and ascension.

So how did it go ?

I'll be there - So will Jared (Panda89), Larry (RandomNothrog) as well as the Bobby and Zimmerman Collaboration, assuming they actually show themselves near the Warlord tables instead of playing League of Legends in the hotel room.

I didnt think Zimmerman was coming? Why is it you two wont defend your doubles championship then?

I'll be there for most of the events. Still need to talk to my partner about potential doubles ideas, and I'm not sure if I'm going to enter the Ancients event, but I got tickets for everything in case!

Ascension World Championship is the same time as doubles, and I've already got that covered for winning the road to GenCon event
