| So the guy on the master codex.....I dun get it. That seems like what should have been used for Masticus; Yet he turned out to be the guy on the cover of AEG's D20 suppliment "War." Was this a choice by Steve, or is that Mysterious Codex man yet to trouble the players of WL? |

It's surmised the dude on the master codex is the as yet unrevealed Duke Blackthorn, the real one that whupped up on the Elite Dark Horsemen.

Or, in an actually likely scanario, Malrog died (partially due to Sorcha's intereferance) around the time that Hate and Bhaine did (perhaps a little before), and the new evil is unrelated to the MLs, except insofar as it is a rival of theirs.
And, in a perfect world, employs one of their former apprentices.

Nine Cats of Hell... wow. Quite good for a little third level monster! I always loved the Nine Cats of Hell, but I wonder, is that the stat line for a single cat or the nine as a group?
Edit: I've also been wondering about Malrog since I believe dominance, since he received two mentions there.

Yes, specifically as in the Organization entry, where it lists Solitary (just that one monster) or 9, where you have to fight nine of those things.
What makes me go though is that Knowledge (the future) is a skill. And wow, they have +42 in it.
